Singapore is opening up for tourism with many rules

One of the popular tourist destinations, Singapore is now opening for its tourists where tourists should undertake mandatory Covid-19 test before stepping foot on the land. The mandatory COVID-19 test costs 200SG$ and all incoming travellers should mandatorily take the test.

With the pandemic showing no signs to stop and the economy is showing downward scales, all the countries are easing up the lockdown restrictions and allowing tourism to gradually open up with safeguards against the virus which has been put in place by many countries. And Singapore also now allows tourism from other countries where tourists can visit the nation but it comes with rules and regulations.

According to the Ministry of Health, Singapore government official website Singapore will be open to tourists and people entering the country should follow strict notices so that you can help prevent the spread of the virus. All incoming travellers must serve 14 days Stay Home Notice which would cost 2,000SG$ and before the Stay Home Notice period ends, one needs to take COVID-19 test which is mandatory.

The rule is exempted for all travellers entering Singapore from 17 June 2020, 2359 hours, and who had remained in Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Hong Kong, Japan, Macao, Mainland China, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam in the last consecutive 14 days prior their entry, will no longer have to serve their SHN at dedicated SHN facilities:

Apart from the above-mentioned nationals entering Singapore, every other traveller should follow strict 14 days Stay Home Notice at dedicated facilities.

Singapore Citizens and Permanent residents can follow SHN at their place of residence. Long Term pass holders can under SHN services at their hotel or place of stay which one should pay for their stay.
